Panama is a presidential republic located between Central America and South America, a thin strip of land with long coasts facing the Pacific Ocean and the Caribbean Sea. Almost the entire population is concentrated on the Pacific coast, particularly in Panama City; that’s why there are vast areas of virgin forests where indigenous people still living maintaining their lifestyle. Panama is a garden where, during the months of April and June, bloom acacia, ponchana roja, the lagerestroenia and jacaranda purple, while from December to July flowering bougainvillea of ​​all colors, in addition to hundreds of varieties of orchids. Oceans that bathe its shores are rich in marine life and in the forests there are large numbers of animals typical of the region.

The Panamanian jurisdiction is reputed as one of the most advantageous for making investments offshore, in fact many countries to tax havens were inspired precisely by this model to create new tax havens.

We must specify that Panama is not included in the Black List: on July 6, 2011 it was included, whilst retaining much of its tax advantages, between the virtuous nations that are doing their utmost for international cooperation in economic and financial matters.

The different offshore companies that may be established in Panama are:

  • Panama Corporation: it does not require minimum capital and requires the appointment of three directors and at least one shareholder. Its creation must be validated by a notary and by the Office of the Public Registry
  • Panama Limited Partnership: the capital is between 2,000 and 2,500,000 dollars and the names of all members must be registered with the Trade Register
  • Individual Limited Proprietorship: the liability of shareholders is limited to the amounts allotted
  • The Panama Trusts: to create a trust, investors should be of foreign nationality, but must refer to a lawyer of Panama.
  • The Foundation in Panama: you can be the owner, but not engaging in commercial activities. The minimum capital is $ 10,000
